Expansion foam spray is primarily used for sealing gaps, insulating walls, filling cavities, reinforcing structures, repairing concrete or stabilizing loose components. Fireblock foam is marketed specifically to "impede the spread of fire and smoke" and "provide a simple, cost-efective way to maintain the continuity of an approved fire block material throughout the house". Does Fireblock perform in a materially different manner than regular Gaps & Cracks foam?
